It’s no secret that conditioning exercises will accelerate your progress in aerial and pole, but it seems impossible sometimes to make time for conditioning at home. Ideally, we would set aside 30-40 minutes a day to focus on conditioning and wellness, but we know that isn’t always accessible for everyone. We would wager that you do have ten minutes, though! Here is a great 10 minute workout that targets the arms and abs.
Maybe you are considering joining a new aerial class, or perhaps you’ve already joined the circus family! Either way, most new aerialists have a lot of questions when it comes to their goals and journey as an aerialist. One of the questions we hear most is, “How long does it take to get really good?” While most people are looking for a straightforward time frame, that’s not really something we can tell you. It depends on a lot of things. Let’s talk about a few factors.
The new school year is here! There are always so many choices when picking your child’s after school activities, and you may already be overwhelmed by a packed schedule. So how do you pick the one activity your kids love, but also helps their development? Don’t get us wrong, there are a lot of great options out there, but if we can let our bias show for a moment, we love all the things circus classes do for kids.
If you’ve been bitten by the aerial bug, then you’re familiar with the symptoms: burns and bruises in your nooks and crannies, evenings spent at the gym rather than home, and a growing wishlist of aerial equipment that you stare wistfully at while shopping online. Chances are, you’ve looked around your home to figure out the best placement for your own aerial rig or home installation. As tempting as it is to have your own personal rig, it’s important to stop and ask yourself some tough questions and answer honestly before you splurge on a home rig.
All of the events we get to be a part of never cease to amaze us with their style and creativity, but some definitely stand out! Last October, we were honored to help Madison Broyles and Bradley Burch celebrate their big day, and we still can’t stop talking about this incredible wedding!
