Camille Rule
A Little Rock native and ACA founder/co-owner, Camille was born to perform and teach. With a background in Classical Ballet and Dance, she has carried that training over to her Circus career and teaching. Camille first began Circus Arts over 7 years ago when she discovered Hula Hooping! This quickly led to her obsession with other Circus disciplines such as Fire Dance, Stilt Walking, Partner Acrobatics, Handbalancing, AcroYoga, Aerial Arts & Aerial Dance, and theatrical production. Camille is a certified Yoga instructor, certified AcroYoga instructor, certified AcroYoga Fit teacher, and certified Aerial Silks teacher! She has studied Circus Arts at many schools around the country and plans to continue building the Circus community in Arkansas.
Rebeka Poland
Rebeka Poland, co-owner of Arkansas Circus Arts graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, she worked 5 years as an engineer in Louisiana, Brazil, and Arkansas. She left her career to pursue an even more challenging position, motherhood. Dance and fitness has always been a major part of Rebeka''s life as she began dance training 17 years ago in Tallahassee, Florida. In March 2010, she was inspired to dance with a circular piece of plastic which began her journey into circus, kinetic, and fire arts. Rebeka is an ACE certified Aerial Instructor in Fabric and Spanish Web.
Rachael Mercer
Rachael loves the Aerial Arts and passion lies in teaching. Her first time in the air she knew this is what she was meant to do. Her Circus journey began on Aerial Silks and Pole, then led to Lyra, Aerial Hammock, Trapeze, and Straps. Rachael's background in body building has given her incredible strength for Aerial Arts and Circus which inspires her students to become their strongest selves!
Rachel Newell
A Little Rock native, Rachel began her performing arts journey in the Ballet studio at the ripe age of four, and spent her early years training in various forms of dance at Arkansas Festival Ballet and Shuffles. During her freshman year of college, she discovered the joy of teaching by leading a kids after-school dance class in a rural community. In the midst of her hectic life as a college student, she began taking Aerial Silks classes and found where her love for performing arts was meant to grow!
Arkansas Acro
Arkansas Acro is led by Acro Revolution certified instructors Scott and Hannah Forbush. Arkansas Acro creates community based on trust, support and acrobatic practice. They work with all ages and all levels of experience, for both performance and personal practice. www.arkansasacro.com Arkansas Acro's all levels class on Thursdays at ACA (7:30pm) is geared towards beginners and those with experience. They are also available for private lessons, parties, handstand lessons and entertainment through ACA.
Emy Rose
Emy Rose has been enchanting audiences since 2015. Her spell binding routines on the pole celebrate the power of embracing the confidence and strength from within and she loves passing that on to her students. Let her tempt you to explore that part of yourself and embrace your own inner power through the art of Pole Dance and Fitness!
Melanie Barton
Melanie is a bright and energetic instructor with a passion for movement. She attended Hendrix College and studied Physical Therapy at UCA. Mel is certified to teach beginner Aerial Silks and teaches Intro/Beginner Level Aerial Silks classes are ACA! Mel combines her physical therapy background and knowledge of the body with her Circus teaching style for an emphasis on safety and efficiency in movement.
Heather Sanders
Heather has a background in competitive sports and Soccer, but like many in our community, discovered Circus as an adult. She attended UCA where she continued to play soccer. Heather works for the Apple company in Little Rock in addition to teaching, performing and managing the Arkansas Circus Arts facility. Heather combines her unique sports experience with her coaching style to push her students to be the best version of themselves.
